SafeHouse Studio are looking for creative/artistic people and/or businesses that want to join the SafeHouse studio and collective in Richmond, Melbourne.The SafeHouse is an open space studio that has 1 upstairs studio space available now and 2-3 downstairs artist spaces that are available now.
The upstairs office/studio spaces available are at #100+GST a week and downstairs artist spaces at $75+GST a week. All spaces have 24 hour access and include a desk, storage, internet, electricity, heater/airconditioning, insurance and outgoings. There is also 2 shared production areas with a large table light box, another large production table, a temporary external wall for painting large scale and various other large interior walls for painting and working on projects/artworks etc… We also have a fully functional kitchen and 2 bathrooms with a shower.. For entertainment purposes we have turntables, and a table tennis table for late night matches!
We offer advertising through our blog, website and social media as part of being in the studio family, as well as being a part of yearly studio exhibitions, projects, events, murals, etc. This year we will also be setting up an online store for studio members to sell their artworks or products.
The studio is in a fantastic location close to public transport, the city, Mountain Goat Brewery, Victoria Gardens, Bridge Road, bars, pubs, restaurants and numerous shops and hardware stores.
