Seasons Of Change: Winter – F1 Crew

We are proud to announce our continued involvement in the Seasons of Change Exhibition coming up on the 7th of June,
and as usual we will be making two limited edition prints by members of the crew.
The F1 crew is a major crew in Melbourne, you can find plenty of their work around the streets, featuring some of Melbourne’s biggest talents such as
Grater, Dem 189, Plea, Reset 1, Shem, Hooker, Detch, Giro, Pudl, Perso, Grots, Aeon, Does, Sirum and Shem.

Here’s a sneak peek of the two prints we have created for the show here at Dangerfork…

And some shots of a few of the Crew in action around Melbourne….

NEW PRINT IN THE WORKS

This is a preview of a new screen print i will be printing and releasing through dangerfork some time next month. This final print is the product of a process i have developed over the last year or so and am super happy with the results. I started by hand drawing the initial sketch then scanning and re-drawing with illustrator as a 1 colour image to give it a very sharp vectorised look. I then printed it in several different paper/ink colour combinations and cut them up and glued them into several collages. I have chosen and photographed one of the collages and re-separated it using halftones to capture some of the texture of the collage, still keeping to a minimum number of colour for the print. A screen print of a screen print, i like this concept.. My working process has changed alot over the years from being very spontaneous and haphazard with visually complicated results to now meticulous & process driven with mostly very simple results. Funny how things chance…
